About the Role
The Head of Marketing at Dashboard Insights will be responsible for building and leading a high-impact marketing function that drives awareness, demand, and customer loyalty. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring that campaigns, messaging, and brand presence directly contribute to business growth. As the marketing lead, you will be the voice of the brand in the market, shaping its positioning while aligning closely with business development and product teams.
Purpose of the Role
To lead and scale Dashboard Insights’ marketing function, driving brand visibility, demand generation, and customer engagement to accelerate the company’s SaaS growth journey across Australia and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Execute Growth Roadmap – Build a marketing strategy aligned to growth, retention, and revenue objectives.
- Lead & Inspire – Mentor a small, agile team, fostering creativity, accountability, and high performance.
- Brand Positioning – Own messaging and thought leadership to differentiate Dashboard Insights in the SaaS market.
- Demand Generation – Scale inbound and outbound acquisition via SEO, SEM, paid campaigns, social, and email marketing.
- Pipeline Alignment – Partner with business development to strengthen lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.
- Customer Advocacy – Develop case studies, communities, and advocacy programs to showcase client success.
- Data & ROI – Define KPIs, track ROI, and refine strategies through a data-first approach.
- Agility – Lead ad hoc marketing initiatives to support evolving business priorities.
Requirements
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in a SaaS leadership role.
- Proven track record in scaling demand generation and digital growth.
- Strong leadership with experience managing small, high-impact teams.
- Strategic yet hands-on—comfortable executing campaigns while driving vision.
- Exceptional communicator and storyteller, simplifying complex SaaS products into compelling narratives.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and related tools.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with agility and adaptability.
Preferred
- Background in analytics, BI, or data-focused SaaS.
- Knowledge of the Australian SaaS market and experience scaling globally.
- Experience in building customer advocacy or thought leadership programs.
