Business Development Analyst

Both companies were founded by TNM, a respected consulting firm with over two decades of experience.

Role Summary:
As a Business Development Analyst at Dashboard Insights, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing two distinct chatbots aimed at enhancing internal operations and client interactions. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with analytics and development teams to ensure the chatbots meet performance goals, focusing on accounting industry data from Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. You will also be involved in defining future phases of chatbot development, including advanced analytics.

Role Summary:

• Serve as the primary resource responsible for developing and implementing two distinct chatbots 
• Internal chatbot for company processes, terminology, and operational guidance. 
• Client-facing chatbot focused on interpreting business data using diagnostic and descriptive analytics. 
• Collaborate with the analytics and development teams to source and develop documents, industry terms, and jargon for training the chatbots.  
• Ensure that chatbots meet performance, accuracy, and usability goals. 
• Focus chatbot development on handling accounting firm practice operations data from Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. 
• Design workflows to automate the intake, processing, and interpretation of client reports. 
• Work with stakeholders to define and scope future phases of chatbot development, including predictive and prescriptive analytics. 
• Develop a strong understanding of Xero Practice Manager and its data outputs to support chatbot training. 
• Continuously monitor chatbot performance and provide recommendations for improvements and updates. 
• Stay current with industry trends in AI, machine learning, and chatbot development to apply best practices. 

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in chatbot development, particularly using GPT or other AI/ML-based models.
• Strong understanding of diagnostic and descriptive analytics, especially in business operations and accounting.
• Experience in the accounting or financial services industries.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and chatbot training.
• Knowledge of prescriptive and predictive analytics (Phase 2 development).
• Proficiency in working with analyzing large datasets.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Xero Practice Manager or similar systems is a plus.
• Understanding of data governance and privacy regulations, particularly in financial data contexts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
